EuroBonus award flights for the summer holidays 2027

Summer's award seats are already out. SAS releases award seats up to 330 days before departure, so by early October 2026 you can book trips right up to the end of August 2027. Each flight has a limited number of award seats, so it pays to search early.

When the seats are released

Departing 15 June 2027: bookable from 20 July 2026.
Departing 1 July 2027: from 5 August 2026.
Departing 15 August 2027: from 19 September 2026.

Summer 2027 on the calendar

Swedish schools mostly break up in mid-June and go back in mid-August; Norwegian and Danish schools break up in the second half of June. Check your local dates.
Midsummer Eve in Sweden is Friday 25 June 2027.
Weeks 28-30 (12 July-1 August) are when many Nordic workplaces take their summer break at the same time, so the most people want to travel then.

How to find the seats

Search two weeks at a time: for example a first departure on 1 July, a 2-week search window and trips of 7-14 nights. Then search the next two weeks.
Search a whole region: "Southern Europe" in Dotflight covers Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Athens, Lisbon, Nice, Málaga and Mallorca in one scan, and "Greece" covers Athens, Thessaloniki and the islands.
July often goes first; June and late August can give you more dates to choose from.
Search with every traveller: Dotflight asks SAS for seats for the whole party. If there is no room for everyone, try two at a time.
Children aged 2-11 pay 50% of the points on SAS's own flights, and children under 2 fly without points (taxes apply). On partner flights children cost the same points as adults.
Book a round trip: at SAS a one-way costs 60% of the round-trip price.
