How to find SAS EuroBonus award seats
To find EuroBonus award seats, log in on SAS's website and search SAS's award booking - but search many dates, not one. SAS has a limited number of award seats on each flight and releases them up to 330 days before departure, and the points price is fixed by destination and class. So the hard part is finding the dates that still have seats.
Four ways to search
1. SAS's award booking, day by day
Free, with your EuroBonus login. It shows SAS's own flights and SkyTeam partner flights at the points price SAS charges you, and it is where you book. It searches one date (or date pair) at a time, so looking across several weeks takes many searches.
2. SAS's Award Finder
A tool on SAS's website for looking up award seats. SAS's own Award Finder page describes what it covers and how often it updates; you book in SAS's award booking.
3. Search services that search from their own servers
Services such as AwardFares and Bonussøk search award seats on SAS and the SkyTeam airlines and show them on their own websites, without your SAS login. Both have a free plan and paid plans (checked 4 October 2026).
4. A search inside your own SAS login: Dotflight
Dotflight is an independent Chrome extension, not affiliated with or endorsed by SAS. It runs on SAS's website, in your browser while you are logged in, and asks SAS's award booking about every date in a window, outbound and return, at SAS's own points price with your Amex 2-for-1 applied. Its limits: it is made for Chrome on a computer, the free plan searches one airport pair and up to 14 days at a time, and seat alerts (Pro) check only while Chrome is open.
SAS's website terms do not allow automated tools to access its website without SAS's written permission. Dotflight does not have that permission. Using Dotflight may therefore break SAS's terms, and SAS could limit your access to its website or, in the worst case, act against your EuroBonus account - for example by cancelling award flights you have already booked, or ending your membership. You decide whether to take that risk (terms, section 2).
AwardFares and Bonussøk belong to their owners; Dotflight has no affiliation with them.
How to improve your chances
- Be flexible with dates. A single day rarely has seats; a whole month often has some.
- Search several destinations. A whole region, such as Southeast Asia instead of one city, finds more.
- Book round trips. A one-way costs 60% of the round-trip price - see round trip or one-way.
- Business class has the fewest seats - see award flights in business class.
- Book as soon as you find something. Cancelling is free within 24 hours of booking - see SAS's rules in short.
- Release day. See when SAS releases award seats.
Made for Chrome on a computer; Edge and Brave usually run Chrome extensions too.
