EuroBonus award flights for Easter 2027
Easter is short and popular: many people want the same few days. Seats for the whole of Easter 2027 have been bookable since early May 2026, because SAS releases award seats up to 330 days before departure. Each flight has a limited number of award seats, so it pays to search now.
Easter 2027 on the calendar
- Maundy Thursday 25 March, Good Friday 26 March, Easter Sunday 28 March and Easter Monday 29 March 2027.
- Swedish schools take their Easter break the week before or after Easter, depending on the municipality; Norwegian and Danish schools usually take the days around Easter itself. Check your local dates.
- Departing 20 March 2027 was bookable from 24 April 2026, and departing 5 April 2027 from 10 May 2026.

How to find the seats
- Search the whole Easter week at once: a first departure on 20 March, a 2-week search window and trips of 4-10 nights cover departures up to 2 April.
- Be flexible by a day or two. Flying out on Maundy Thursday or home on Easter Monday is popular; the days around them can have more seats.
- Search a whole region: "Southern Europe" in Dotflight covers Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Athens, Lisbon, Nice, Málaga and Mallorca in one scan.
- Search with every traveller: Dotflight asks SAS for seats for the whole party. If there is no room for everyone, try two at a time.
- Children aged 2-11 pay 50% of the points on SAS's own flights, and children under 2 fly without points (taxes apply). On partner flights children cost the same points as adults.
- Book a round trip: at SAS a one-way costs 60% of the round-trip price.
- An Amex 2-for-1 covers one booking of up to two travellers.
- Found something? Book it straight away. SAS lets you cancel free within 24 hours.
- Full? Save the search as an alert - Dotflight tells you when seats turn up, for example when others cancel.
Destinations that suit Easter
- Southern Europe - spring is further along, and shorter trips cost fewer points.
- The Canary Islands - warm all year.
- Japan - cherry blossom usually falls in late March and early April, so it is high season.
- New York - a city week in spring.
