EuroBonus award flights to Thailand
Thailand is one of the most popular uses of EuroBonus points, and there are more ways there than most people expect. SAS's award booking sells SkyTeam and partner flights as well as SAS's own, so a trip to Bangkok or Phuket can go via Amsterdam, Paris, London or an Asian hub.

- Via London with Virgin Atlantic on part of the way.
- Via Asia with partners such as Vietnam Airlines (through Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City) or China Eastern (through Shanghai).

A real example
From a real search in September 2026, Stockholm-Phuket in December: economy 57,000 points one-way but 47,500 per direction as a round trip; premium economy 85,500 one-way and 71,250 per direction as a round trip. With an Amex 2-for-1 and two travellers, that halves per person.
Tips for finding seats
- Search Bangkok and Phuket together: "Thailand" in Dotflight covers both in one scan.
- Book a round trip. SAS often charges fewer points for a round trip than for two one-ways.
- Premium economy out and economy back is often a good compromise - pick a cabin each way.
- Christmas and the February school holidays go early; November and early December often have more.
